On-site presentation of FMB-Süd

As things stand at the beginning of September – it is becoming apparent that the fourth FMB-Süd to be held in February 2020 will once again provide visitors with an interesting blend of exhibiting companies.

At the same time, the show is forming networks within the region and will be presenting itself at two industrial forums.

The trade show organisers are very satisfied with the number of bookings for FMB-Süd. Christian Enßle, Portfolio Manager FMB: “We have received bookings from major anchor exhibitors, the numbers are at the same level as last year and the companies which have already registered cover a very wide spectrum of the supply chain in the field of mechanical engineering.”

This month, the organisers will be taking advantage of two opportunities to draw attention to the show and to acquire new exhibitors to take part in the FMB-Süd.

The first event is the 13th International Mechatronics Forum to be held in Cham (Bavaria) on 25 and 26 September 2019. This annual congress has established itself as a European market place for innovative manufacturing technology. The co-organisers include the Mechatronics + Automation Forum comprising over 200 members, which recommends their participation in the show as a cooperation partner of the FMB-Süd and is involved in the design and organisation of the accompanying programme.
This year, the congress is entitled: “The Future of Manufacturing: digital, connected, global”.

The “Experience Additive Manufacturing”, to be held in Augsburg almost at the same time as the Mechatronics Forum, namely from 24 to 26 September 2019, was developed by Messe Augsburg as a multi-location event.

The FMB-Süd will be presenting itself at both events as a platform for the exchange of know-how and ideas in the field of mechanical engineering with proficient suppliers and as a “place to be” for manufacturing experts from the entire southern half of Germany.

The next event just a few weeks later will increase the number of bookings further. The FMB – the supplier show for mechanical engineering and thus the “parent” of the FMB-Süd as it were – will be opening its doors in Bad Salzuflen from 6 to 8 November. Many exhibitors take part in both trade shows and book their stands for Augsburg while they are in Bad Salzuflen.
